Roy Moore's son arrested, charged with DUI

Associated Press
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — The 20-year-old son of former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore has been arrested on driving under the influence and drug possession charges.
Authorities said Caleb Moore of Gallant was stopped by state troopers on suspicion of speeding shortly after 4 p.m. Sunday on Alabama 10 in Crenshaw County. Trooper spokesman Kevin Cook said he was charged with driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding.
Caleb Moore was being held Monday in the Crenshaw County Jail under $8,500 bond.
Roy Moore said he couldn't discuss details because his son had applied to be treated as a youthful offender.
Roy Moore is president of the Montgomery-based Foundation of Moral Law and has formed an exploratory committee to run for the Republican nomination for president.
