Louiesa West, Phillip Perri Face Child Abuse Charges After Leaving Baby In Car To Go To Central City Casino

A couple left their 9-month-old baby in their car, still buckled into its car seat, while they went inside a Central City casino on Friday night. The baby was unharmed and was released to the grandmother, The Denver Post reports.

Fox31 reports that the couple, 22-year-old Louiesa West and 25-year-old Phillip Perri, will face child abuse charges, but that it is still unclear how long the baby was left in the car.

Sammy Kent, a Thornton man, who was walking through the Century Casino parking lot in Central City discovered the baby in the back of the car, 7News reports. Kent was buckling himself up in his own car, getting ready to leave when he glanced over at the car next to him and saw the baby strapped into the car with the radio on, windows up, and doors locked.

Bodies of two missing children found in Florida Canal

Friday, Delray Beach Police identified the bodies of two children who were found floating in a Florida Canal in Delray Beach on Wednesday.  One was stuffed into a duffel bag and the other in a suitcase. The children were Jermaine McNeilk, 10 and Ju'tyra Allen who had been missing for a week.
There mother Felicia Brown had been missing since August and they police believe that her body was found in a West Palm Beach landfill last August.
When the duffel bags were found on Wednesday, Margaret Gissome told ABC she is certain the children are her niece and nephew.  Gisson went on to say that she believe Clem Beauchamp, 34, is the one that killed them.  Beauchamp was dating Felicia Brown the mother of the Jermaine and Ju'tyra.
Barbara Flint, the children's grandmother told WPLG that she asked Beauchamp where her grandchildren were.
"He was sitting on my sofa.  I am asking him, "Where are the children?  Clem, tell me, where are my grandchildren?" and he knew all the time that he murdered them.  Two little innocent children.  He could have brought them to me.  I would have taken my grandchildren," said Flint.

The family was also asking Beauchamp were Felicia was, and he told them that she was in jail.
A person familiar with the case told the Associated Press on Friday that Beauchamp used Brown's name to get food stamps and other government benefits after her death.
Neighbors said that many children with different mothers lived in a home with Beauchamp.  Back in 2008, Beauchamp fought an ex-girlfriend for the right to have two children live with him and he won.
Three children who lived in Beauchamp's home were by the Department of Children and Families.
Do you have a loved one who is missing and need my help getting their story told? If so, send me your story and pictures of your missing loved one, and I will feature the story on my Missing Persons column and the Examiner and also on my blog, Missing Persons of America.
Beauchamp voluntarily went to the police on Thursday and he was charged with illegally possessing a homemade firearm silencer.

Elderly woman scammed out of $7,000

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - It started as a normal trip to the Dollar Store and turned into something much more an elderly woman in her.  Out of fear of retaliation she did not want her identity revealed.
She told News Leader 9 that two women met her at a Macon Road Shopping Center and took her on a ride she would never forget.
"I said call the police, she said no they would take it and keep it, I said no they wouldn't call the police."
They would not call the police.  Instead another woman came to the 86-year-old woman's car and got inside.  She told her that she knew the manager inside of T-J Maxx on Macon Road and that he could help them keep the money they had found.
"She said he was real nice the manager and said he is a lawyer and something else and he can tell me what to do with it."
News Leader 9 spoke with the manager at T-J Maxx, who to our surprise was not a man at all. She referred to their cooperate office who didn't return our call.
According to one of the scammers the supposed "manager" agreed to help them. Each of the three women would have to produce $7,000 so that he could use that cash to trade with the money inside the bag. That was an attempt to get rid or hide serial numbers that could possibly be traced.  This is where the scam became even more confusing for the victim.
The women traveled with one of the two scammers to her home and picked up her checkbook. They then went to her bank in Bradley Park to take out the $7,000 dollar, most of her life savings.
She gave the cash to the other women waiting at T-J Maxx. She then took the money inside the store to the supposed manager--lawyer. Then asked to come inside and talk with him.
"She said we would go in and there are pocketbooks on the right just go all the way to the back and there is a door, she said don't ask for him. I still didn't think anything about it because like I said I was brainwashed."
When she came out of the store the two women were gone along with her $7,000 in cash
