((( commercial will skip but news coverage will not )))

An Auburn University ROTC student was airlifted to Columbus Regional after being hit by an Auburn University transit bus.
Police say Danielle O'Mahoney was jogging in formation in one lane of traffic, with a large group of Air Force ROTC members.  The Tiger Transit bus was in the other lane, heading towards the group, when the bus's side mirror hit her.
She is in stable condition at this time. No other injuries were reported.
A portion of Lem Morrison Drive was closed to traffic for approximately an hour and a half.
