A thief made thousand of dollars worth of unauthorized purchases using a stolen debit card which belonged to a southeast Charlotte business.
The crime was reported on Thursday by London Capital Group, LLC, located at 120 Greenwich Road.
An employee said the unauthorized purchases were made between April 1, 2010, and May 11, 2011.
The thief used the stolen Wachovia debit/VISA card number to make several hundred online purchases with Facebook and Zynga games valued at $45,266.
