Laketia Marie Tharpe, black female, 25 years of age, of Ozark, Alabama is WANTED with Fraudulent Use of a Credit or Debit Card.

The Dothan Police Department is seeking the help of our local community in locating a woman wanted for fraud. Police say the original incident occurred on April 28, 2012, when a woman’s purse was stolen. The purse contained a credit card and debit card that were then used numerous times immediately after the theft before card services could be cancelled. On May 16, 2012 investigators arrested Lakevia Shider and said additional charges were pending at that time.

Police have now identified a second woman wanted in conjunction with this crime and have information that she may have fled to Florida following the arrest of her accomplice. Investigators have signed warrants against Laketia Tharpe and are asking anyone with information about the case or location of the suspect to call the Dothan Police Department or CrimeStoppers 334-793-7000.

WANTED:

·        Laketia Marie Tharpe, black female, 25 years of age, of Ozark, Alabama is WANTED with Fraudulent Use of a Credit or Debit Card.

ARRESTED:

·        Lakevia Shider, black female, 31 years of age, of Daleville, Alabama was arrested and charged with Fraudulent Use of a Credit or Debit Card with a $10,000 bond.
