GREENSBORO, N.C. — No injuries were reported when a Southwest Airlines plane made an emergency landing at Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro.An airline spokeswoman says Flight 999 was headed to Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport from Birmingham, Ala., Monday morning when it landed in Greensboro because a light in the captain's cabin indicated a fire in the cargo area.
No fire was found, and no injuries were reported among the 91 passengers and five crew members.
