A $50,000 reward is being offered for help finding a driver who plowed through a red light in Koreatown

A $50,000 reward is being offered for help finding a driver who plowed through a red light in Koreatown, crashed into pedestrians at a bus stop and then fled on foot, abandoning his pickup truck.

Fredy Mendez, 38, is believed to have been behind the wheel in the hit-and-run crash that killed 45-year-old father and husband Javier Hernandez and injured two others.

"Who’s gonna be there for the wife, the kids? Who's gonna support them?" Hernandez's niece said at the time of the crash.
