On July 11, 2014 the Dothan Police Department responded to 4401 Montgomery Highway in reference to a theft complaint at Kohl’s department store.

Arriving officers were advised that two black females had taken several pieces of merchandise and were leaving the business without paying for them. The suspects left the property occupying a maroon Dodge passenger car but were stopped shortly afterwards by another officer responding to the call.

The suspects, now identified as Connie Collins and Charlotte King, were found to be in possession of the merchandise taken from Kohl’s, as well as property that was confirmed to have been stolen from Academy Sports store, located at 3950 Montgomery Highway. They were both arrested and charged with theft of property.

  Connie Collins, black female, 54 years of age, of North Alice Street was arrested and charged with two counts of second degree Theft of Property. Bonds have been set and total 5,000.00.

• 
  Charlotte King, black female, 53 years of age, of Thunderbird Drive was arrested and charged with two counts of second degree Theft of Property. Bonds have been set and total 5,000.00.

All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
