Pededstrian struck by moving van

DOTHAN:  Dothan Communications Center dispatched a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle on Ross Clark Circle in front of Alabama Slammer, 2900 block of Ross Clark Circle.

Dothan Fire Engine 3 ( Westgate ) responded. They found a male subject in the roadway that had been struck by a moving van. From sources on the scene the male subject is beleived to have stepped into the path of the van.

Dothan Fire called a trauma alert, serious injuries. The patient was transported by a local ambulance, emergency, to Flowers Hospital.

Dothan Police called for the CRASH team investigators from Dothan Police to respond to investigate the accident.
