TheWigregrass News has learned that fire investigators have identified a person of interest in this weekend's historic fire.

Fire investigators say they are seeking the person a man seen in the photo featured in this story.

Investigators believe this person is connected to the  massive blaze at Old Swift Mill in Columbus.

Saturday evening, the historic mill burst in flames sending plumes of smoke throughout the city. Firefighters battled the fire for hours.  Crews are still monitoring the site for possible hot spots.
